Administration
The administration personnel of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney assist in the responsibilities of carrying out the criminal justice system.
 
Records Unit
The Records Unit of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney receives material from local law enforcement agencies, compiles case files, inputs data into computers, accesses prior criminal history and prepares criminal information for filing, subpoenas, judgment and commitment orders and pleadings for deputy prosecutors.
 
Training Unit
The Training Unit of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney assists senior level prosecutors in training new prosecutors and conducts annual trial advocacy seminars for new deputy prosecutors involving lectures, video-taped performances and critiques by nationally recognized prosecutor/trainers.
 
This unit facilitates monthly staff meetings and training sessions, compiles the Sixth District computerized Prosecutor's Formbook for prosecutor pleadings and distributes publications updating prosecutors, law officers, judges and others about new legislation and prosecutor aids. This unit maintains publication for staff attorneys and accesses recent appellate decisions and undertakes computerized research on a variety of topics.
